Charles F. Barnwell, Jr.

Mr. Barnwell is a CPA and has over twenty years of tax experience, the first fifteen in Big Four public accounting. Mr. Barnwell is a founding partner of Barnwell & Company, established July 1, 2000. He has a national reputation in state and local taxation, having served companies located around the United States and internationally. He was admitted to the KPMG partnership in 1991 where he was instrumental in establishing and leading the State Tax Minimizations program for five years.

Mr. Barnwell has spoken extensively on state and local taxation to state societies of CPAs, the Tax Executives Institute, the Federation of Tax Administrators, the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and other professional associations. Mr. Barnwell recently published an article on the sales factor in the Journal of Multistate Taxation and Incentives. That same journal will publish an article written by Mr. Barnwell on the state and local tax issue with FIN 48 in mid-2008.

Mr. Barnwell has a Master of Professional Accountancy, and holds the Elijah Watts Sells Award for outstanding grades obtained on the CPA exam.

David L. Mallory
Partner

Mr. Mallory is an attorney and CPA. Mr. Mallory is a founding partner of Barnwell & Company, established July 1, 2000. He has twenty years of tax experience - including six years in Big Four and twelve in private industry, where he managed tax departments of large corporate groups. Mr. Mallory has experience in all aspects of corporate taxation, including state and local taxation, corporate mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, tax accounting methods, inventory methods and consolidated corporation income tax returns.

Mr. Mallory has a Juris Doctor degree in Law.

Michael A. Mimbs
Partner

Mr. Mimbs is a CPA with nineteen years of tax experience, fourteen in Big Four public accounting. Prior to joining Barnwell & Company, he was a partner at Ernst & Young where he became the national lead partner of the firm's state and local tax minimization practice in 1997.

Mr. Mimbs has made presentations to the Tax Executives Institute, the Organization for International Investment, the E&Y Tax Directors Workshop and the National Industrial, Retail and Consumer Products Conference.

Mr. Mimbs has a Master of Taxation.

R. Bruce Jacobsohn
Partner

Mr. Jacobsohn is a CPA and has over twenty years of tax experience working with multistate corporations including eleven years with a Big Four accounting firm and nine years in senior tax positions with large publicly-traded corporations. Most recently, Mr. Jacobsohn was Vice President-Tax for a large multistate, multinational company. He has significant experience with corporate tax issues in the multi-state, international, and mergers and acquisitions area.

Mr. Jacobsohn has published articles in The Tax Advisor and The International Tax Journal and has been a speaker for the Tax Executives Institute and the World Trade Institute. He is a past member of the Tax Executives Institute and was an adjunct tax professor at Kennesaw State University.

Mr. Jacobsohn has a Masters of Science in Taxation.

David C. Reeves

Mr. Reeves is a CPA and has more than twenty years of tax experience, including ten years in Big Four public accounting. He spent four years as a tax partner with Deloitte & Touche in their national comprehensive tax services division. His area of expertise lies in advising companies on their state and local tax issues and in restructuring same to reduce their tax liabilities.

Prior to joining KPMG in 1994, Mr. Reeves was a tax director with several multinational companies. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

K. Brigham Sewall

Mr. Sewall has over 13 years of state and local tax experience, all of which were with the Big Four public accounting firms. For nine of those years his primary focus was in the strategic state and local tax planning area, specializing in tax minimization for Fortune 500 companies. Industry focus included health care, food and beverage, oil and gas, and manufacturing.

Prior to joining Barnwell & Company, Mr. Sewall had his own business. His business quickly became a regional leader with annual sales over $25,000,000 based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr. Sewall has a Master of Taxation from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA.
